was not sure what to expect but was looking forward to this 1 as it was something different to everything else out, and i was not let down the graphics and story are some of the best on the 360 and the facial expressions tell the story so well and u cant help but feel 4 the charactors, the gameplay itself is a mixture of platforming and combat it reminds me of the jax and dexter game aswel as beyond good and evil. the acheevements arent to hard so it is well worth playing as its 1 of them hidden gems. just a shame so many people will miss out on this game cos it will be lost in all the other games with better marketing

Great game for a few nights. Those of you with young kids might notice who the voice of pigsy is, which is fun.

Although the controls are easy to use they're a little harder to master as you unlock more abilities. Mixing the moves is quite satisfying.

It doesn't have much replay value - but then you're renting this aren't you?

You'll feel like you fighting the camera a lot of the time, which for me was the biggest turn off, along with inconsistent scenery interaction; you can walk through a plant in one scene but you can't leap over it in the next - hang on can't I jump ten feet?

I'm selling it short though. This didn't sell as many copies as it should have when it was released. It's a game about saving the pretty damsel in distress while never wearing a shirt. Set it to medium (easy was too easy), grab a beer and kick some mech butt. You won't regret it

  • Camera angles ruin it but okay

The game is actually very fun but like many games of this style the camera style is never static, it is dynamic which is great... but changes when you don't want it to.

Camera can go from being third person to being sat infront of you which makes movement horrible.

The story is very nice and combat is rather interesting with some neat lines from the characters and the fact that you get pulled into the universe.

A game to definitely rent, but you may find yourself getting infuriated by the angles of the camera and the lack of visibility at times.

Amazing game!, storyline was fantastic plus the characters are very likeable! combat isnt just typical button mash either!, only downside is they could of made the jumping around more accessible to explore the levels, other than that loved it!

Enslaved is one of those games that escape from the gamers' minds. Its not as highly rated at COD or Halo or Mario but nevertheless, if you like storylines in your game and enjoy the cut-scenes, this is the game for you. Ninja Theory did an excellent job with story telling and Andy Serkis was awesome as the voice of Monkey and the rest of cast is memorable as well. Enslaved is emotionally moving with its beautiful environment, detailed characters and an engaging story. My only gripe with the game is its difficulty. The game is not that difficult, even the platforming levels. If you are expecting prince of persia (old ones) sort of platform, then sorry this game is not for you. For the most part, the game plays it safe and does a good job by keeping the player safe as well. You can't fall off the ledge, drop down and kill yourself or whatever. The game literally holds your hand. Also, the game suffers from texture loading.

But overall, the game is fun to look at but playability wise, the game could have been awesome if it was a bit more challenging
