(133)Made me sad.
By pauldbw (5 reviews) , 21 Jun 2012From Bethesda, the great minds that brought you the Elder Scrolls series. Good starting point. Well thats as far as I can praise this game.
Played a good five hours, not normally enough to gauge a game, but I hated it from the first minute. Gameplay not shabby, but the story and graphics let it down. Could have done with a couple more weeks sweat and toil in the studio.
Made me sad.- Was this review helpful to you?

Very disappointing from Bethesda
By a customer , 30 May 2012I loved the world, the characters and the design of the game and I am sure that the whole story line would have been great. But I would have loved the carry on playing but it was a whole waste of time. It is so hard to get a gun and even when you get a gun it is so hard to even kill someone, even on Very Easy difficult. I love the fact that the map is so big, but you literately have to start from scratch on finding everywhere. It's a shame they copied the engine and a lot of other aspects from The Elder Scrolls but not the aspect of being able to quick travel to landmarks from the start. The first town I visited it was so hard to navigate to whichever house I wanted to go to, too many windy paths and paths hidden.- Was this review helpful to you?

fallout / fallout new vegas
By a customer , 15 Apr 2012Some one asked if fallout 3 was better than new Vegas the answer is yes
The story is much more involving than Vegas and a lot longer.
The characters are nicer and a lot more convincing
There's more community's and collectables plus the DLCs are much much better if a bit short
If you liked Vegas you're sure to like fallout 3
Hope it helped- Was this review helpful to you?

great game. shame about the level cap
By alexglennie (12 reviews) from Cardiff , 03 Apr 2012This game you can clearly tell its made by Bethesda meaning theres allot of story a big map and the graphics are very similar to oblivion /skyrim. As I said about the level cap is 20 (30 if u buy dlc) this means your limited to your abilities so it's hard to get max stats unless you do what I did and start with 9 or 10intel (intelligence gives you extra skill points when you level) and allways look for bobbleheads and if you pick the ability to gain an extra skill point when reading books then you get 2 instead of 1 point per time. 25 books for each skill meaning you can get 50 skill on everything without leveling.
Plus bobble heads give you 10per stat or one special skill for each stat/skill available.- Was this review helpful to you?
