Fallout 3: add on
By rajamedare (10 reviews) from Dudley , 05 Nov 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
This feels alot like a fallout 3 add on but a huge version of a add on, my advice is that if you liked fallout 3 you are defonately going to like this as it has a more gripping story in my opinion, and better side quests just make it that epic game you was waiting for, however it is not Fallout 4 its Fallout:New vegas thats not to say it isnt good its very good just not a whole new game which is a good thing right !? BTW i LOVE THIS GAME....- Was this review helpful to you?

(43)For the diehards only
By Dovakhin (9 reviews) , 09 Feb 2013There are positives and negatives to this game. On the plus side, the story is original and intriguing. On the negative side it is overly difficult. Which is great for some people but personally I found the level of difficulty fairly attritional even on very easy. Admittedly I don't play many shooters and the challenge will appeal to some.- Was this review helpful to you?

:D :D!
By a customer , 04 Jan 2013I really really liked this game, kept me entertained for so long, there's much you can do as it is open world! Basically Skyrim with guns. And abit more funnier. As it is made by the same people who made Skyrim so gameplay is similar in aspects.- Was this review helpful to you?

Playable, Just
By TheOrion (7 reviews) , 12 Mar 2012I played this since I quite enjoyed Fallout 3 despite its major issues.
I come to see that not much has changed between games other than the story of this game just didn't interest me as much as Fallout 3, which I got completly immersed in.
Good to rent but as far as exploration and game longevity goes its quite a short experience.- Was this review helpful to you?

Just what the doctor ordered?
By POD0909 (2 reviews) , 24 Feb 2012As a devoted Fallout 3 fan I fell on my knees and thanked what ever god may exist up there for new vegas. Hardcore mode sounded like the best thing to happen to Fallout since they discovered the VATS aiming system.
I awoke in a doctors hut with him telling me I had been shot in the head. After deciding on an appearance, name and personality. He took me through to his living room where I sat and looked at ink blots. I then noticed his lips were moving and no sound was coming out. Putting it down to an after effect of being shot I made to stand up but found I could no longer move. Realizing the game had frozen I promptly rebooted the machine and tried again.
This time I made it through the inkblots and out of the hut. Assuming that with no more prolonged dialogue the freezing problem was behind me. But alas I spent a whole glorious five seconds in the mohabi dessert before I experienced another stroke and became paralyzed again.
After eight grueling attempts and only advancing a few minutes of gameplay at a time I promptly threw down the controller switched off my Ps3 and decided I love Fallout 3 and if I need a more immersive survival story than that then I will go to Glasgow on a friday night and begin offending random people in the street.- Was this review helpful to you?
