Great
By a customer from Cornwall , 15 Aug 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
I loved this game, all the way through, until it ended. ¬_¬ I loved the characters, the dungeons, the combat, (most of) the storyline, i loved it all. But i felt it was too short. I completed it in around 10 hours and i was hoping for it to be longer because it was so enjoyable!
It's the best DS game i've played so far. The graphics are pretty fantastic, the voice-acting's really strong (anyone who used to watch Digimon will love Yuri's voice =D) The ending felt a bit rushed - the final boss was under-developed. But the game does have a lot of replay value as you can start again, keeping your items and levels, and take on stronger enemies and a new dungeon.
And in response to the other review, there IS a guard button, after the first attack of your combo, hold R and you'll block, and counter-attack when hit ^_^ (you learn Guard and Counter when you reach the right levels) So fighting isn't too much of a challenge.
Loved it.- Was this review helpful to you?

One of the most advanced RPG game on the NDS
By a customer from London , 13 Aug 2009Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates on DS is one of the few games on the NDS that pushes the boundary with amazing graphics in DS standard, this is one of the fewer NDS game that has actual voice over and a lot of vital RPG cut scene needed to properly explain the story, the music is amazing and the story line is as gripping as can be, recommended to any RPG fan.
Very much like Suikoden: Tierkreis on DS
I have spent over 40+ hours in fully completing this game, well wroth every penny
Rent it, I can guarantee youll like it and perhaps even buy it.
If you liked this game then try Suikoden: Tierkreis on DS its similar- Was this review helpful to you?

Good, if repetitive.
By a customer from Cookstown , 17 Apr 2008This is undoubtably a great game, but the dungeons can be hard, as they don't tell you what to do to go on. The cut-scenes are good, especially the pre-rendered ones. Overall it's worth 4 stars! The fighting is also hard, considering there's no actual guard button.- Was this review helpful to you?
