Rootin', tootin', knee slapper of a game!
By Adam Sermet from London , 14 Apr 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
Cowboys and Indians dont usually get my spurs spinnin, but this game has got the ol' wild west down to a tee. The shooting is spot on with a real weighty feel to every gun. The voice acting is better than some of the old spagetti westerns I've seen. Vast expanses of dessert and canyons to freely roam give this game a real feeling of size. The gore is excessive, as is the swearing and racism but hey, no-one said the wild west was a friendly place! If I had one criticism it would be that this game is a little on the short side, with no real replay value. If this game had the kind of size of grand theft auto, it would be an instant classic. As it stands its a very good rental.- Was this review helpful to you?

(5)Good idea, gets tedious
By a customer from London , 08 Jan 2007Good idea for a game, with some nice variations on standard shooters, such as horse-back combat and a slow-motion function (called 'quickdraw'). However, I got bored fairly quickly and found having to re-do tricky parts got incredibly tedious as you have to start each sub-mision from scratch. Worth a quick stab, but don't expect too much.- Was this review helpful to you?

Action packed funfest.
By Mike453 (3 reviews) from Maidstone , 01 Sep 2006A good free roaming action game set int eh wild west. There aren't many western games out there but this is clearly the best. Fun gameplay mechanics such as the awesome horse riding combat and even an intriging story.
Just a shame it's over within 6 hours, but hey, it's a rental so that's ok right.- Was this review helpful to you?
