Verry Addictive
By a customer from London, England , 16 Jun 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
A fun video game that takes you to the life of a farm. I enjoyed it because my neighbors had it and we allways wanted it for PS2, then it finally came out. It passes time away.- Was this review helpful to you?

(7)Slow Disappointment
By a customer from London , 22 Nov 2008Having played HM before on the SNES and trying out the GB versions, I was extremely disappointment with the game. The frame rates are extremely low and the game itself is very very slow. It got really frustrating and the whole introductions was slow as well.
The graphics were okay but slightly choppy ... this game was its best on the SNES and the PS2 version was a total flop. If you have played HM before you would probably not like this game ... even my 7 year old cousin was fed up with this!
Not really worth renting and definitely not worth a buy!- Was this review helpful to you?

Quiet gaming at its best
By Chrausis42 (14 reviews) from Southsea, Dorking , 17 Sep 2008This is a brilliant game. There aren't many ways I can fault it except that those of you who are less patient will not enjoy it, because this is a looooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooOOOO OOOOOOOOooooooooooooong game... I mean really long. But its worth it if you give it the time, so give it a try if you're in the mood for something non-violent- Was this review helpful to you?

amazingly terrible and unplayable!
By pyromantis (99 reviews) from Nottingham , 04 Jul 2008This game is BORING. VERY BORING. I have Harvest Moon on my GBA and that version is simple, fun and easy yo use. This version however, seems to have been constructed by inept lizards. Despite the relative simplicity of the graphics and engine, the game still manages to run at an astonishingly bad frame rate, something that should've been ironed out way in the heyday of the PS2. Your little bloke runs like a toddler with no knee joints so it takes forever to get anywhere. By the time you've ran to the field, watered the crops, milked the cow and found the dog to give him love, the day is over. Also, your man is WEAK! It only takes a couple of whacks with the hoe to tire him out, and waiting for him to recover so you can finish what is supposed to be one of the most basic tasks put me to sleep. Get a different version on a different console, because this is the worst incarnation of Harvest Moon yet!- Was this review helpful to you?

What do you do?
By a customer from Coventry, England , 21 Nov 2006Trying to try something a little different I decided to try this game out. At first you do simple things like naming your farm, a cow and your dog. And thats as far I got. The game never tells you what to do next and I spent a good hour walking about in the game, not exactly great when you don't get a manual like when you buy it. The graphics also seem dull, blocky and mainly rubbish compared to what the PS2 can really do. If I had the manual however I may have got through it if I knew what to do, so unless you know what to do, avoid!- Was this review helpful to you?
