    [Highly rated reviewer]

firstly, i'd like to say that the photo above, with mr. potato head holding the board games (connect 4 and battleship etc.) is from Hasbro Family Game Night 1 and those games are not on this third installment of FGN.

(the origional FGN was a downloadable game and is not available on disc. And for those curious about FGN2, it was a Wii exclusive and is not available on PS3 or XBOX360)

so, FGN3 consists of 5 different board games:

    -Yahtzee(card version, not dice)

    -Cluedo

    -The Game Of Life

    -Twister

    -Mouse Trap

i had never played any of these board games before, but they are very easy to learn..

probably the Question asked most about this game is 'how do u play twister on a console?'

well, it's simple really. a combination on buttons move across the screen. you must memorise and repeat the order to score points. it was very easy. maybe the easiest part of the game.

if you want a game to play with your kids, your friends or if you want to play a board game you haven't played in years, i highly recomment FGN3.

This is also highly recommended to trophy/achievement hunters :)

Didn't realise games could be this bad.

Although it is an excellent way to get the kids to switch off the games console and play a proper game instead.

Complete cack, give it a wide bearth.

TO SAVE EVERYONE TIME JUST GO AND BORROW THE REAL BOARD GAME, A LOT OF PATIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS GAME FOR LOADING IN-BETWEEN SHOTS ETC

Why do Hasbro have to licence such trash, i mean i understand that they are trying to bring their board games that entertained generations eons ago to a new audience but why they have to completely ruin any childhood memories you had playing these board games is beyond me. I got this thinking it would make for an enjoyable night in with the missus but each and every game on the disc has been recreated is such a pathetic fashion that after the first game of each on the disc it was duly put back in its sleeve and will never poison my ps3 again with its lacklustre and ultimately boring renditions of classic board games!

I would avoid at all costs.
