Taxing an enjoyable

Arcade mode is realistic enough for most!
Good throttle controls, HUD, weapon overheat and very good graphics. Better realism than other flying games - more of a flight sim than a flying game in fact. The spray of engine oil over the cockpit screen from a winged opponent is a joy!
Online play can be fun but infuriating when you simply cannot shake a good player off your tail!

FUN AT FIRST BUT REPETATIVE AND TOO MILD
By a customer from BERKS , 02 Sep 2010THIS GAME IS A GREAT COMBAT FLIGHT SIMULATOR ALTHOUGH NOT AS GOOD AS THE MICROSOFT PC SERIES OR AS FUN. THE DOGFIGHTING IS GOOD BUT THE TARGETS ARE A BIT SMALL TO SEE. THE BOMBING MISSIONS OR WHEN YOU SHOOT AT BOMBERS IS LESS POLISHED AS IT IS JUST LIKE SHOOTING FISH IN A BARRELL WITH MINIMAL RETALIATION FROM THE ENEMY. THE WAR FOOTAGE IS REALLY ENJOYABLE WITH A GOOD VOICE OVER FROM SOME THESPIAN. ALL IN ALL IT IS A GOOD GAME BUT MAYBE JUST A BIT STIFF. COULD DO WITH MORE ACTION, FIERCER ENEMIES AND MORE VARIED MISSIONS. RENT IT- Was this review helpful to you?
