International Athletics invites virtual athletes to test their skills and beat the best in the world. A very realistic athletics simulation - well, as close as it gets on Nintendo DS - Internatioal Athletics features 14 super-challenging track and field events: 100m, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, 400m, 110m Hurdles, Discus, Pole Vault, Javelin, 1500m, Hammer, Running Target Rifle shooting, Rapid Fire Pistol shooting and Archery. Of course, this being a DS port, the game makes good use of the touch screen and stylus in a classic 'Track and Field' style. Detailed international stadiums, including venues in Canada, France, Japan, Spain and China are included. You can create a customised male or female athlete with their own distinctive attributes and compete in pass-around, Single Card, Multi Card and Nintendo WFC multiplayer modes. The online leaderboard enables you to download/upload and show the rest of the world just how fit you are.

DO NOT RENT THIS GAME.

This game is actually the worse game ever, trust me. Poor graphics, poor gameplay, poor control system.

Compared to Xbox so loses

My son cant help compare it to Beijing or London on the Xbox in which case it suffers dramatically. I personally believe he enjoyed it for an hour but then got on to his other games. lol
