Great platform game

A great platform game for the ps2. Everyone expected it to be the Mario of the ps2. It isnt, but it comes mighty close. Great levels and loads of things to do and collect. Exactly how a platform game should be.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from London , 07 Jul 2008I am not a hardcore gamer and to be honest may not even qualify for any type of gamer (looking at my scores / completion times etc) but when I can fit in a game I love turning to Jak & Daxter. On each level there is something to challenge each player without being too intimidating. You can get into the game straight away and with the numerous save opportunities you do not have to go too far back when your plans go wrong. An excellent platformer especially if you want to involve the young teens.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good platformer for kids
By Bala from Birmingham , 31 Oct 2007This a very good and enjoyable platformer, which my son loved. Older children will find it easier compared to the other Jak titles.

There's no better action adventure out there!
By jenn24_7 from Notts , 28 Mar 2006This is a fabulous game! Good storyline, pretty graphics, likable characters, easy enough for kids to play, challenging enough to keep adults amused too.
If you (or your kids) are new to games consoles or if you fancy branching out and trying a different genre, this is a really fine example of an action adventure game.
The two sequels make pretty good playing too, but are considerably darker in content and design. I have completed this game a few times now and I'll keep on returning to it time and time again.
