I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Shaun Yakoob from Ilford, Essex , 26 Mar 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
This game is not what it seems!
On first impressions, i wasn't even ready to rent this game out, till i decided 2 give it a try....
This game may look all cute and cuddly, but underneath it all lies a really clever and entertaining adventure game. you control a fairy called kameo who has to rescue her family from evil trolls, and she uses powers which enable her to morph into creatues such as dragons, ivy plants, beasts, etc. All these creatures have certian abilities to get you through the levels. Level designs are top notch, and the characters are so vivid and memorable, i was left thinking about the game days after playing it, and its not often a game comes along and sucks you right in, it really is that good!
I really recommend this game to anyone who owns an xbox 360 and hasn't tried this yet, as you won't be dissapointed!- Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting, but annoying.
By IDean (7 reviews) from Brentwood , 16 Feb 2010It's actually quite hard to judge this game. On the one hand, the game is getting on in years, so technically it's probably unfair to judge it this late in the game. It has aged gracefully, and looks as enchanting a world as you see these days. The gameplay is unique, the various animal forms work well, even if they sometimes seem a bit weak or bizarre, and the graphics, whilst dated, show a world rarely seen in video games.
However, whilst I enjoy the majority of the game, I must point out the weak point. The story doesn't intrest me. Without dipping into spoilers, what I did play didn't interest me, and the voice acting, for the most part, ranged from substandard to just awful. Whilst the game itself felt as though it was meant for any age group, though youngsters may find it difficult, the acting and even cut scene animation felt more on par with a small kid's tv show. This is fine for kids, but for an adult like myself, it does start to get just a little annoying.
Other than that, though, it's a beautiful looking game, with an inventive gameplay system and control scheme. It's definitely worth a look, just don't expect too much from it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Kameo is great !
By a customer from Hemel Hempstead , 08 Jan 2009I just bought my xbox 360 at xmas and the game ive wanted to play sinse the xbox 360 came out was Kameo. Im glad I got this game first as it is another classic RARE type adventure. RARE make ace games and they equalled there record for keeping me entertained with this game.
What I really liked about this game was the fact you had to control up to 10 creatures, all with different special moves and also I liked the wotnot book that you carry on your journey as it gives hints along the way, every step of the way !
If your looking for a classic adventure game then you are in the right place as Kameo delivers on every level ! The sound is great, the gameplay is great and the length of the game is around 13 hours long.
I recommend this game 100% if you like adventure gaming :)- Was this review helpful to you?

Amazing
By bobochimp700 (24 reviews) from Washington , 03 Mar 2008Im not sure why i rented this game, but im glad i did. The graphics are superb (some of the best i've seen on the 360), the gameplay is great. It took me quite a while to finish it but i got 600 gamer points for my trouble, there is co-op mode to get more points which i didnt use. Do not think this is a kids game, rent it you will enjoy.- Was this review helpful to you?
