Great game
By Simisan (11 reviews) from Brighton, UK , 25 Feb 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
As others said, it's better than the last one but the story is a bit too short. Multiplayer is great though so there's lots of replayability to make it worth buying, and definitely worth a rent.
Works with move and even though the move controls were pretty intuitive and actually worked 90% lag free I preferred just using the pad.
Another great exclusive for the PS3!- Was this review helpful to you?

(47)Awesome toys, but horrible cover system
By TFolder (17 reviews) , 10 Jan 2013I'm reviewing Killzone 3's single player campaign only, as I'm not a big fan of futuristic multiplayer FPS. I must say it took me about an hour to start liking the game; the campaign structure is similar to Call of Duty's (most of them), and gameplay is very much trying to be a first person Gears of War. At the end though, it succeeds in mixing things up and just being Killzone. I think game's strongest point are awesome weapons and especially military equipment that you constantly get to try out. Cons would be that without these toys there's not that much left, and the game would be just a repetitive, another one of the bunch FPS; shooting enemies didn't really feel as satisfying as it should be, because physics aren't pitch perfect in the game (i. e. you try to shoot someone hiding behind a crate with a sniper rifle, and even though half of his head sticks out, the game says to you - 'no, he's hidden, and you can't kill him'). Also, Killzone 3 probably has THE WORST cover system in the history of video games - it leaves half of your body exposed, and there's no way to cover properly or lay down, so you kind of just have to stay exposed to the enemy and pray they don't kill you (if you don't have something bigger that yourself to hide behind). Overall, 3. 5/5 - Worth a rent!- Was this review helpful to you?

great gameplay, terrible story
By StanleyHTweedle (20 reviews) from London , 16 Jun 2012Guerrilla Games have made a greater shooter with excellent graphics. However, whomever thought the story and dialogue was worthy of Ray Winstone's and Malcolm McDowell's talent needs medical attention - the good guys are such a bunch of cliche American GI lunkheads they deserve to die and the Helghast characters appear to be acting in a completely different game.
Enjoy the gameplay and skip the cutscenes....- Was this review helpful to you?

Great KillZone
By Clarky16 (31 reviews) from Wigan , 07 May 2012Great game and excellent graphics. Good improvement on KZ2. The only downside for me was the ending. There was a little twist at the end to make way for KZ4 but still it could of been better.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great game, shame about the length and the rubbish end
By v_2_da_j (23 reviews) from Leicester , 15 Apr 2012Great, brilliant, shows what you can do with a good team of game designers, just wish the game wasn't so short, the ending was also a bit of a sham, nothing much happens which is disappointing and you think...is this it? a good play none the less- Was this review helpful to you?
