Great game if you have the Space
By a customer , 18 Apr 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
The games are simple addictive but you do need a fair bit of room. I have a few Kinect games and this is not normally a problem but i needed in excess of 12ft to play this game properly. Sometimes even then it wouldn't pick up my movements.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)Great Kinect game.
By Hazell13 (24 reviews) , 15 Sep 2011One of if not the best game out for the kinect.
Easy to get into some of the test are easy but getting a A or A+ can be very testing and have you going back to try to beat your score.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great fun with a few small problems
By Willpinataman (7 reviews) , 03 Jun 2011Dr Kawashima's body and brain exercises is a great game. The game uses the kinect sensor very well and works, although it needs a bit more space than some kinect games but I have a small bedroom and it was fine at most points in there so I did not find this a problem.
The game has good replay ability to with plenty of exercises all at three different levels, Beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Having said that though I did not get such a variety of exercises when doing an 'official test' I seemed to get the same 5 or 6 over and over again.
None the less all round this is a great game and well worth a rent- Was this review helpful to you?

Good fun but a few caveats
By JonJ (6 reviews) from England , 12 Feb 2011I must admit I was quite excited to see how this game turned out. Having played all the DS versions it has been interesting seeing how Dr K has been transferred onto Kinect.
With Brain Training it's all about the mini games and I must admit, some of the games including are really fun and although some are tough you still want to go back and try to better your score!
You can tell the game was originally in Japanese as the translation isn't always great; this shows when you're going through the tutorials at the start of each new mini game. I found myself confused on several occasions but after playing through the game (and getting an F ;)) I worked out what was meant to be done.
I like the menu system they have implemented to a certain degree. I can only suggest you don't try and use two hands (put one behind your back) because it seems to get confused. But when browsing through menus you don't have to hold your hand there for a couple of seconds before it is selected which makes a nice change. Only when you want to select the game to play do you hover over and wait. It just makes things a bit more fluid.
Haven't tried the multiplayer but I can only imagine it being up to 4 times the fun if you're competing against your friends or siblings.- Was this review helpful to you?
