    [Highly rated reviewer]

Only rented this game as other reviews have highly recommended it but really glad I did!

Basically just a really fun and enjoyable game, not really a challenge to a hardcore gamer if thats what you're after but it will definitely put a smile on your face.

If you are into unlocking secrets and scouring levels for collectables then this is a must as you get to play all the best bits of the Star Wars Saga then go back and pick up on the bits you missed the first time around.

Nothing revolutionary in graphics but will take you back to the good old platform days of running round, jumping from ledge to ledge and solving puzzles to progress through the levels.

You get the chance to play as any character you choose from the saga and can even make up your own. The cut scenes add an extra bit of humour and co-op mode lets everyone get involved.

This is a good game, but I got bored and don't like the fact you have to collect two different types of mini-kits... 8/10

Great game - fun all the way through and classic Lego game.

One problem is the split screen like in the Lego Batman game, not very good :/

I've played all the lego games and I can honestly tell you Lego Star Wars is by far the best title.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is the the first two games combined together with some added extras making it the complete package!

The 6 films are cut in 6 levels each making a total of 36 levels... and by todays standards, that is a massive game with mountains of things to collect and unlock.

The game is fantastic, it looks sweet, its very humourous and will leave you wishing there were more films.

There is also an online co-op system which to my knowledge is the only lego game with this feature.

There is a noticable difference between the 2 trilogies simply because episodes 4 5 and 6 are just miles better. The levels are longer, more creative, they look nicer and also the cutscenes are funnier. This is expected however because the first trilogy was released years before and lucasarts were working with a new formula. It was quite a chore playing through the 1st 3 movies and an absolute delight playing through the 2nd three movies.

The basic concept of the game is, break thing, build them in order to progress to the next room. Kill lots of enemies and go exploring for all the hidden items. The concept works great.

If you want to unlock everything in this game you will deffinetly have your work cut out for you, its BIG!! there are around 15 different collectables on each level, bounty hunter missions, time trials, cheats to unlock,100's of characters and vehicles to buy, secret levels, build your own lego character system... honestly this game is teaming with content. OH and you cant just collect everything going through the story mode, once you finish a level you are able to play 'free play' which allows you to change characters and what have you to get all the hidden unlockables.

Lego Star wars is hillarious and charming and there is very little negative I can say about it... yes the 1st 3 films arnt as good in camparrison to 4, 5 and 6 but they still have their moments (The pod race is pretty cool), but besides that the only negative that comes to mind is the local co-op... Online isnt a problem at all, but local co-op doesnt use splitscreen and (ESPECIALLY in the 1st 3 movies) can lead to some horrible horrible moments when the camera just isnt good enough and lead to many many cheap deaths or falls... its gets very annoying.

Negatives aside, Lego Star Wars is amazing, you couldnt do better when selecting because of the sheer amount of content. The game is lengthy, full of comedy and best of all ITS STAR WARS LEGO!!!

Rent it, enjoy it and if you manage to finish the game 100%, you have achieved something very special!

The game had so much potential but the awful 2 player coop camera angles and the fact that only the host can save progress and unlock achievements ruins the game.
