Disregard the "Boring button basher" review

Yes it is a button basher beat em up but plays hardly any different to Bayonetta where the gameplay starts off with limited moves but gets deeper as you purchase more moves along the way.
Once you've levelled Juliet up the combat can get quite deep and satisfying when playing on hard, especially against some of the awesome bosses
And I was quite impressed with the graphical style with it's whole Japanese kitsch comic thing going on. Even the story was quite fun.
The only qualm I have with the game is that it is quite short and doesn't take all that long before you've seen everything.
To sum up it would make for a perfect week's rental of zombie kicking goodness.- Was this review helpful to you?

By Greengarfy (15 reviews) , 21 May 2013Not bad. Its easy to control (so many modern games are waaay to complicated) and thus extremely playable. Impressive moves / combos are easily strung together so non-serious gamers like myself can get good at it quickly! If you're a serious gamer you'll probably complete this in a few hours as I never finish games and I managed to finish this one (on easy level!). Graphics are good, soundtrack is possibly the best I've ever heard in a game, but it's all a little cheesy and tongue-in-cheek, and feels like its aimed at 14-year old schoolboys. Pop OR Poop Chainsaw

why the bad reviews its good game
By lucifer2010 (2 reviews) , 23 Feb 2013why so many bad reviews i really enjoyed it was something different and unique. good to play a young sexy girl instead of a big bad a** guy with attitude. will advise it very crude in remarks alot of sexual references like when you change her clothes her boyfriend says'oh i wish i had a d**k' you will get it when you play the game.- Was this review helpful to you?
