By a customer , 18 Nov 2012i looked at the screenshots and videos for the game and i thought it might be good but when i got it i felt like it was a game that came out in 2001 just because it is soooo crapy- Was this review helpful to you?

great for a rental, don't buy it though.
By onion (314 reviews) from leeds , 15 Nov 2012Really good fun, But considering the games you can buy for £40 this really isn't worth it.
Buy it cheap or rent it.
Oh, and the prologue sounds alot like an iffy porno so be careful if you're gonna crank up the sound with loved ones nearby.- Was this review helpful to you?

Gear up for a fun, sexy, side-splitting adventure.
By TheMonkeyWrench (3 reviews) from Bolton , 08 Nov 2012You might think it's a little pervy to say that a game's main appeal is how sexy it is. But you haven't played Lollipop Chainsaw.
My first impressions when I started is that the game was very arcade-based and laid back, making it easy for me to relax and still follow the story. Somewhere along the lines, it became challenging, furious-paced and deep in storyline, and it managed to blend the two ideals so well.
I can see where some people are coming from when they say it's repetitive,a friend of mine also rented and felt that way. But I suppose that's if you're willing to have the patience to collect the combos and collectibles, by which point the game becomes a new level of dynamic. There's also good customisable options like multiple special moves, a mash-up of different gameplay styles, and collectibles, like outfits (which definitely won't make you feel bad for thinking the main character is HAWT).
My favourite parts are the boss battles, which are always separately unique and for the most part, hilarious and personal. The cast and characters are also a favourite, some big name or recognisable actors lend their voices to some interesting and well-developed characters (my favourite is Nick, hilarious!)
All I can say is, for a game you're not looking to take too seriously and just enjoy the ride, Lollipop Chainsaw invites you to take a seat which is stylish, funny as hell, and at the very least, likeable.- Was this review helpful to you?

It's a combo slasher with saints row style humour
By AbusedWomble (11 reviews) from Birkenhead , 04 Nov 2012After watching reviews on youtube for Lollipop Chainsaw they gave me the impression that this wasn't a very good game but I thought I'll rent it anyway and I'm glad I did. The graphics are good the levels are well designed and the boss fights although fairly straight forward had some good mechanics. The voice acting is also really good Julia and Nick play off eachother really well with witty banter, only thing that might put some people off is that the game only takes around 6-7 hours to complete even on hard but If you enjoy combo slasher games and want an enjoyable game then give this a go ;)- Was this review helpful to you?
