Am I missing something?

I had read all the hype and had spoken to friends who could not wait for it to come. I was very pleased that received it soon after it was released.
I sat with my partner all ready to have the time of our lives. After the first game we looked at each other and decided it was going straight back.
Maybe its that I just don't get the Mario thing????
However being able to race with people from around the world is very good and easy to do. I wish you could do this when playing tennis.

It's a Me!!
By valovedder (2 reviews) from Skipton , 16 Jul 2009I've been pleasently surprise by this. Being ols and crusty and loving the Snes version i had my doubts. By really loved it. Online and multiplayer is totally addictive.

Good, but repetative.
By Stales89JSM (5 reviews) from Nottingham , 12 Jul 2009As the title says, It's a good game! I was a fan of the Mario Kart games for the SNES and the N64. I never played Double Dash on the Gamecube but it is on my rental list :), however this game is not one of my favourites.
The wheel is a good new toy to play with, yes a toy, not a controller. The reason I say this is because it's fun for a while, but it can get boring very easily, plus you have to do the same tracks and cup races several times on different difficulties to progress in the game which is very repetative.
I personally play using the Nunchuck as I am a controller gamer and not a huge fan of the Wii, but I had my fun moments on this game.
The best feature is the online mode, you can have 2 players on the same Wii play up to 10 (I Think) other players either worldwide, or in your continent. The online mode also has contests to join and other competitions to play against your friends or the world!
It's good for Mario fans, and as a short racing game, but it's not for the hardcore gamer. Try Forza on the 360. Or wait and see what My Sims Racing is all about!- Was this review helpful to you?
