Let me say first that I had no idea what to expect with this game. I never followed the success it had on the 360 and I knew nothing of the storyline or how the game played.
This isn't a fast and frantic shooter as I expected. The combat is well paced and requires plenty of' duck and cover' to regain health and reload. Plenty of weapons and upgrades to choose from. You also have access to 'Bionics' which are basically super-powers for you and your team.
The graphics are excellent, all the different planets and ships have their own look and feel. The character models are well detailed.
The music is well placed and varied. The rendered cutscenes are extremely well detailed -(think Battlestar quality).
The voice acting is superb. Most of the characters are from TV and film and the script is by far one of the best out there on a gaming platform.
I got just over 35hrs worth of gameplay. That was a single play-through, fully upgraded weapons and team mates, plenty of side missions and mining. My only gripe is the loading time onboard your ships when you move between levels.
If you love shooters with a mix of RPG, this is a great addition to your collection.

Too difficult to get into
By a customer , 02 Feb 2012I wanted to enjoy this game and the first mission did seem promising however I didn't enjoy how the missions didn't flow from one to the next. It gave the effect of the story being broken up and before any mission can start, a lot of wasted time had to be done which i also didn't enjoy. :(- Was this review helpful to you?
