Outstanding, easily one of the best games this generation. Only Uncharted can match up to this.

Great graphics, story, music, voice acting.

Terrible endings

It was a good game and as a fan of the series I was really enjoying it but the end killed it for me big time.

Great game.

Good game play options and decent story line. I've not played the previous versions of the game before. The kinect options are handy but not needed - it simply adds vouice commands. Graphics are good but can be glitchy when you can close up to opjects.

Just Unreal...

As a first time player of the Mass Effect series I have to say this game is mind-blowingly incredible. Any bad reviews on here will be from die hard fans of the Mass Effect games who probably have issues with changes from the previous games, or the actual plot. The only fault I found in this game was the navigation system, which I think could be vastly improved on, as it seemed very outdated compared to the rest of the game. To any other Mass Effect newcomers, I would highly recommend playing the first 2 games in the series, as it vastly effects the RPG experience. I am definitely getting the first and second to play it all the way through now, and I'm sure it will be even better the second time around! Very impressed!

Sci-fi epic

To get the most enjoyment out of this game, play ME2 first, and at least read up on the plotline and lore of ME1 (It might be worth a rent just for the story, but the gameplay isn't great). Mass Effect 3 is fantastic in terms of gameplay and character development, and it has some of the best cutscenes and cinematography I've seen in a while. My only issue is with the ending. It will almost certainly disappoint hardcore Mass Effect fans like myself. The entire last hour or two of the game was done totally wrong. But don't let this put you off, it is otherwise a great addition to the series.
