[Highly rated reviewer]Best game story for years so far - action is on point -graphics on point and gameplay is on point - games like a movie! 10/10

Great story line.By DotFifty89 (2 reviews) , 28 Apr 2013Excellent game, the story pulls you in right from the start like the other two Max Paynes. Leaving you thinking what's going to happen next. Only bad bit that I didn't like was when the story went back in the past there was constant blur and flash effects every 5 seconds or so, I think we could gather that he was in the past but the effects didn't need to be so excessive.
Get a move on...By TJ0 (1 review) , 27 Apr 2013I know I'm probably being quite harsh here but it's not my fault that the game I played before this was Batman: Arkham City. I played Max Payne on the PC donkey's years ago and it was amazing, gripping story line and ahead of its time action sequences. This comes up short by a long way and never gets you pumped up or excited to play. It relies heavily on cut scenes but they are just so bad (quality wise) and boring, it's pretty much the majority of the game. Take for example cut scenes in Batman - they blow you away with detail, here it's just MEH. If you had the ability to skip through the cut scenes and not be forced to walk at a snails pace for certain missions I may have given this a higher rating. All in all, great for showing off to your parents that your diving off a building in slow motion spraying uzi-love everywhere, but even they get bored after the 10th justification of why you're still playing it...
Max Payne , certainly not a Payne in the bumBy Dash111 (1 review) , 22 Apr 2013Overall i found this to be a very good game, Story was great although not as good as the first couple but then it was never going to be, the game play is dealt with really nicely the amount of checkpoints are very helpful, the multi player is good but not great but then you wouldn't get this game for the multi player in my opinion. Overall it is a very fun game which manages to keep all the grungey griminess in from the first 2 and stay true to Max Payne games, i would definitely recommend
Give it a tryBy Muzzler (8 reviews) from Limavady , 17 Apr 2013Its a lot of fun if you like mindlessly massacring enemies while flying through the air in slow motion which I do lol. The online i think is poor but its worth the rent at least just for the single player.

A great campaign with subpar Multiplayer.By RoosterRing (2 reviews) , 17 Apr 2013A excellent game with a good story with a unforgiving difficulty system. If you have played any other Rockstar game then you know what to expect from this game. An mind bending experience with lots of content to complete. The game has a story which will make sense to people who haven't played the first two games although i would recommend it. The difficulty can be unforgiving in this game if you're inexperienced with 3rd person shooters so I would recommend a lower difficulty as your first play-though. The game does feature a multiplayer system which is worth having ago on, although most of the people who are left playing this are veterans of the game. Achievement wise the game has alot of hard to obtain achievements which will take a few run throughs of the game, I'd recommend playing the New York Minute play type after completing the game. All in all the game deserve a solid 8. 5/10.
