For Max Payne, the tragedies that took his loved ones years ago are wounds that refuse to heal. Fantastic game!! Must buy!

This game is an absolute masterpiece, I loved it from start to finish, one of my favorites from Rockstar right up there with Red Dead. The gameplay is challenging and fun, and the cutscenes and story are blockbuster worthy, great voice acting also!!! A must buy!

Another example why renting is better than buying.

This is a game that I really looked forward to, but was very disappointed.

Max Payne games have always had good stories told in a interesting narrative, especially the first game, this game too had the potential for a great story but sadly I will never know, the game-play is so terrible I just couldn't bring myself to go past the 3rd level.

The slow motion diving is annoying, 'slo mo' was fun back in 2001 when it was new, and used more subtly, but in this game you have to do it all the time to try and progress.

If I had bought this game I would have been back at the store in an instance, luckily I rented so only wasted a couple of days waiting for a new game to come through.

Try for yourself and decide, maybe I am just remembering how fun the first game was, but in my opinion this new development team have done a great injustice to the name Max Payne.

I really didnt enjoy this control felt sloppy and the game for me actually felt dated die hard payne fans will probably enjoy

Best action film...sorry game! That I have seen in a while.

Epic story. Very clever twists and turns. It's like being in a film. I gave it a try to see what it was like and I have to say I wasn't disappointed!

what a game, rockstar have created this amazing underrated game that kicks any other 3rd person shooter out of the water, would recommend it to everyone. greatest game ever!
