The series comes once more to your favourite console in the form of Medal of Honor: European Assault. The last Medal of Honor game to appear on consoles was Rising Sun, which placed the player in the middle of the attack on Pearl Harbor. In European Assault, you step into the boots of Lieutenant William Holt, the Army officer appointed as the first member of the newly formed Office of Strategic Services, or OSS. Your job will be to participate in some of the biggest battles in war torn Europe, gathering intelligence wherever you go. Once again, EA?s Los Angeles team that brought you other games in the franchise have worked closely with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and the celebrated Captain Dale Dye to ensure that the game conveys both the atmosphere of WWII and the ethos of the Medal of Honor decoration. Immerse yourself in the chaos of an open battlefield, keeping in cover as you race to complete objectives. Additional, non-essential objectives will help you later in the game if you take the time, but the battlefield is rendered in real time so you?ll have to hurry. Feud with enemy officers and lay your grudges to rest on the battlefield. Leave your squad in no doubt as to your wishes with simple and intuitive controls. Get nasty with the all new Adrenaline mode: charge up your Adrenaline bar by attending the wounded and dropping people with head shots.
