If you're looking for a completely new and updated experience.. Then don't.

MGS 2 & 3 play exactly the same as they did on the PS2. Which granted wasn't great. I genuinely thought when it was ported over to the xbox the controls may have been tweaked, but no, still as awkward and clunky as ever.

Don't get me wrong, that is my only gripe with the game. Bringing back amazing memories of being much younger. The game in itself is amazing! Storyline and how in-depth it goes is a welcome change from shooting everything and not giving a damn about what's going on around you. (The formula for the majority of games these days).

The updated graphics aren't as good as I would've expected, but a welcome improvement nonetheless.

For people who are new to the MGS arena.. Personally, I wouldn't bother, but for people who have played the original MGS games on their original consoles, it's a welcome travel back in time.

  • Out dated controls prevent this being a 5 star

This game is MGS which as we all know is a great game. The only flaw is the graphics aren't great and the controls are outdated other than that it's worth a play through or 3.

WOW, agreeing with some comments here, if you havent played this before this isnt for you, however if your an original mgs fan, then this is a golden trip down memory lane. i only played snake eater ( mgs 3) but that was enough.. this storyline is epic whats better is thats it remade in HD, everythings still the same as i remembered it back on the playstation 2 :)

but because its such a good deal 3 epic games, one big story, on one disc id have to buy it not rent worth the time!

  • Glitched, unplayable - Really disappointing

Had some serious issues with the conversions of one of the older games, the buttons were not mapped properly and as a result unable to play through the game.

Extremely poor, even running off the hard drive these games were jumpy, glitchy and seemed as if they had no testing before release, however I can't say I'm suprised as these re-releases are often neglected and left unchecked in order to make quick easy money.

More evidence of money greedy companies ruining a once fine industry.

Have played and completed all Metal gear games on all consoles and as a hardcore fan i would recommend it to everyone. Graphics have been hugely improved and is a pleasure to play in full HD. Great idea for a great series of games. :)

i owned the ps2 version when it first came out,so i was really looking forward to this. need not have bothered, first, it doesnt include the first and best game. secondly the game play is awful. i gave up after an hour, and sent it straight back.
