So underrated! Must rent.
By SilentW1ll (2 reviews) from Winchester , 26 Oct 2012This is such an underrated game. The storyline is amazing and gripping all the way through the game. This is the only game I have played that successfully pulls of a book or film.
There were some missions that I got stuck on for a while, and then looked for a walkthrough after a while, but apart from that it is a really good game. I didn't notice any bugs or glitches that were noticeable.
This is so much better than games such as Call of Duty etc, as it makes you really engrossed in the storyline, and you actually care about your allies.

So Underrated
By MerfAvenger (1 review) , 30 Sep 2012Metro 2033 is a heavily underrated and underplayed game, overlooked in the 2010 game charts. Until I saw this on a youtube video I had no idea it even existed!
The game has an amazing storyline, and is one of the only games I've ever played that successfully pulls off the book based storyline. It manages to make it interesting, and makes it not too linear while still following a set story. The gunplay - in my opinion - is good, and interesting (playing with the crosshairs off) despite other people saying they dislike it.
My only nit picks are the character models all appear to be the same - which gets weird when all of the people in the room look like Khan - and the voice acting is also limited, they all sound the same. Also, I did have a couple of very annoying bugs which spoilt one level entirely.
Apart from that, this is an amazing game and in my opinion well worth 4&1/2 stars.- Was this review helpful to you?
