I did enjoy this game but at times the controls do feel sluggish and unresponsive. The appeal also grows old very quickly, you seem to do alot of things in the game for hardly any reward. Overall the game is good and i did enjoy it but I am glad I had only rented it.

a let down to the series

I love the NHL series, but this game just did nothing for me, I found myself just playing for the sake of it. And I still don't like the controls of shooting using the analogue stick

Frustrating to say the least.

The controls are far too hard. I'm a gamer that's always wanted to play the NHL games as they've always looked brilliant, but with that said, I'd sat for around 2-3 hours playing this and was still finding it frustrating to control. It made playing the game a chore and after about 4-5 hours of playing the game, I put it back in the pouch and sent it back. Very disappointing.

Over complicated controls

The new NHL11 looks the part, but i feel compared to past games the controlls have been over complicated and if feels slugish, overall I struggled to get into it atall hence my half star rating.

Game plays slower than of past NHL games. Personally could not get into this game. i preferred the old ones. If you are new to NHL games get 09 or 10 alot more fun. Less fun. Harder controls goodluck
