  • More characters, better gameplay, mediocre story mode

    [Highly rated reviewer]

This game takes it's gameplay mechanics from the previous games and adds more to it, making it just a bit better, it also combines the characters from all the previous games and has added more, from the latest episodes of the anime, even the nine tailed naruto.

Although this makes the game alot better in terms of just having fun with it, the story mode is a definite downgrade, it has been stripped of everything that made in fun in shippuden 2 and it has become a chore more or less, as you are forced to complete it, if you want to unlock all of the characters. It is reasonably fun and informative, but it tells the story very boringly by just using pictures and some narrative voices.

With all this being said, the game is very fun once you have completed the story which took around 4-6 hours in total for me, and you can then use the game at it's full potential by battling players online and on the free battle mode.

A great game, it just lacks the story mode to give it a full 5 star rating.

it was very average. the game was just a recap of the past story with a little more tacked on. unfortuneutly they got rid of the bast thing the massive boss battles but also a good thing was that they got rid of all the running around. still cant wait for the next installment hope they bring the big battles back.
