    [Highly rated reviewer]

I have seen some new videos of this and it looks way better than all the other Naruto games. It has 50+ characters some from Naruto and some from Naruto:Shippuden so this means you can play as the younger versions of the characters and the older versions plus its got some new characters one is a Naruto thats mastered the nine tails fox and thers another which is a young version of Kakashi there may still be more but there the only ones that i have heard of. The fighting system looks a lot better and smoother than the other Naruto games too. So i would say for all the Naruto fans it looks like a must buy/rent.

Anyone who played Naruto Shippuden UNS2 will be happy to know that the combat system hasnt changed much at all, still very simple and very fluid, with a few refined features.

The game now features 'Challenge Tournaments' and 'Survival mode' which are both very fun. The character list is much bigger than that of UNS2 with the addition of the younger Naruto characters and some 'Support only' characters.

As for the story mode, its broken open into several 'Tales' of different characters. They have done away with the riddiculous free-roam, which is great. But the inventive main story battles (Quick time events and special fightsetc..) have been removed too which makes the game a little tedious since its simple fight after fight with only 2 cutscenes per 'Tale.' The story now goes as far as the Five Kage summit, wheras in UNS2 the story only went as far as Naruto vs Pain.

All in all this is a very good game, the fighting system is only rival'd by the system from 'Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.'

Its definetly worth a rent or purchase, but it can be a very time consuming game. definetly a favuorite for any Naruto fans.

This game is very fun, very true to the anime and has unseen footage. Great for a die hard naruto fan or just someone who wants a fun and fairly simple beat em up.

Lots of characters, arenas and collectibles. Both japanese and english voice options. Stunning graphics and an easy controller set up.

    Definately worth a rental!

this game was horrible compared to the others, no free roam, just going from fight to fight to fight to fight...........its sooo boring, the story doesnt really go much farther then ultimate ninja storm 2, i was really disapointed with this game, im a huge naruto fan but this game was just crap, i like the anime cuts in it but 2 per character is not really good, they also cut most of the story out of the game, i like all the characters but the battles have go worse, its like in ultimate ninja storm 2 the battle between sasuke & itachi was awesome with all the quick time button pressing, but this game doesnt have none of that,

overall its ok but im glad i didnt buy this game

It's a nice fighting game and great to play with your friends.

There is a nice amount of characters so you can try all their styles, there are 15 characters which are support only; I kind of wished they'd have programmed them into play as there are some interesting character like 'Ao', 'Shizune' and the 'Sound Four' which can only support.

They have made all characters deal the same damage, while this is good because people don't just pick the best characters to win, it also stops you being able to pick a weak character and feel like a 'boss' while winning. I suppose there is handicap to help this, but it still doesn't feel the same.

Overall, I recommend it for it being a great game to take turns on a chilled night with friends and gives the Naruto fan who only watches the anime a nice background on the characters.

i have played a few naruto games in the past and i belive that this new game will smash ninja storm away. because of the fact that the game is keeping up with the manga insted of the episodes. with the new skills that naruto and others have shown on the manga, i belive this will improve the multiplayer. for the story line i would think it would continue from after the fight with Pain but with it being naruto generations with both the original naruto characters and the shippuden naruto characters, i dont have a clue whats going to happen there :p anyways, i belive Naruto Generations will be a great game and awesome fun for kicking my friends about. thx for reading.
