started out great, visually one of the best games on the xbox but after playing it i think that shift should be re named minus one letter. It's similar to race driver:grid but they did a much better job and without the annoying blurring of the whole screen when you clip a tyre wall. if you want a good racing game buy forza 3 when its released or race driver:grid.I bought nfs pro street and sold it a day after release coz it was so poor, when will EA make another great need for speed game like they used to......- Was this review helpful to you?

But its still better than Forza for two reasons.
Its not nearly as repetitive, the action is thick and intense, every race is different due to the consistent change in opponent and player car performance.
Car prices and upgrades are very well balanced with how much money you are getting. The star system allows the game to unfold at your pace.
Forza was a great game. But it was incredibly sterile. this game (despite its age) was a healthy wake up from boring racing games.- Was this review helpful to you?

By unionjackboy (1 review) , 07 Dec 2011Love the idea behind it, it's not the usual NFS it's more of a career built racing game like Race Driver. Loved that idea of it but the handling of the cars is horrible and hitting a wall the screen goes grey and blurry! Plus there's no way of changing the controller options and the driving views are very limited!- Was this review helpful to you?

underrated car game
