    [Highly rated reviewer]

First of all this is completely my own opinion. When i got this game i was expecting one of the hardest games i've ever played. sadly it was not compared to the previous game but that does not stop this game from being very fun and entertaining!

You will find points in the game where you overwelmed by enemies and can be quite hard if not frustrating, but thats one of the great points I like about the ninja gaiden series.

This was no way near as good as Ninja Gaiden 2, it lacks the colour, the variety and it is also very repetitive.

As far as i know there are no collectibles or things to collect from chests, its too plain, its basically the same over every level, people just keep coming after advancing an inch into the level , its like the only thing your interested to see is the next part of the story not what weapon your going to get or something special you can unlock, you just want to get over the fighting.

The first time i played it, the combat was what i LOVED by the game but this time there was just no great feeling when your splitting someone in half!!

Just slightly different bosses and people to fight... I'm sure most people who have played the 2nd one would agree that this one was a letdown.

Overall it lacks what ninja gaiden 2 gave.... a variety of weapons and also the chance to build up your character.

If you're a fan of the Ninja Gaiden series, look elsewhere. Play Bayonetta. This isn't Ninja Gaiden, this is a compromise. It's a Japanese deveoper's idea of what Western game players want. Unfortunately, as with a lot of Japanese games lately they forgot that what we want from Japanese developers is that unique Japanese 'thing', whatever that thing may be that Japanese developers bring to the medium. The likes of Platinum games, Kojima Productions and From Software are the only Japanese developers retaining what makes them unique and different from Western video games.

  • Competing to be the worst game ever made...

There is very little to like about this game - its incredibly boring and very, very repetitive. Its the same thing with differing scenes; with endless hordes attacking you whilst you repeatedly hit the X Button with the odd touch of the Y button.

THEN followed by some yet more pointless button bashing - finally followed by some further yet hollow and pointless cut scenes with terrible voice acting.

This game is pointless, only get it if your list is empty and you feel like you need to keep Royal Mail in business by having them deliver it to you.

    Garbage!

Instead of renting this game, just spend an hour pressing the blue button on your Xbox controller. This is the game play. It is like they removed all what was fun with the previous games and replaced them with button bashing. Avoid.
