LIKE MASTURBATING WITH A SQUARE BUTTON

i love the ninja gaiden games but this one is awful stories so so, the fighting is atrocious finishers are good but you better get really friendly with the square button your gonna be using it a lot no need to move just pound on the square button and you'll clear the room, yes you can use triangle as a heavy attack but why bother when the light attack does everything for you. Plus be warned the multiplayer isn't free either.- Was this review helpful to you?

Less a Ninja warrior, more a bull in a china shop

So when I heard this had a new easier 'Hero' option I thought it would be worth a try. It now has the worst of both worlds as the difficulty isn't so much eased as the fighting just basically plays itself. I could sit mashing the X button without even looking at the screen and clear a room. Instead of making the enemies easier to beat, it makes Ryu autoblock and dodge and preform combos. So I thought I would change the gameplay to 'Ninja'. Now the fighting felt a bit better and under my control, but the enemies could wipe me out in no time. This is too much of an unbalanced mess to keep me interested and I played all the way through Sonic '06....- Was this review helpful to you?

Yet another dumbing down for the modern generation of gamers...I lost interest by the 50th kill of the same clone before the first mid-level boss- Was this review helpful to you?

By TruthHurts (4 reviews) , 03 Jan 2013This is without doubt one of if not the most pointless games ive ever played on any console.... and that is going back to the c64 and amiga days. Why would the developer get to the critical gameplay stage of design and then go with 'I'll get the player to just have to press square for 4 hours, im sure they will enjoy that' There is no skill involved whatsoever. The graphics are a complete mess when 2 people come together and the close p action shots are a disaster. The installation period was longer than the time i gave this.
