    [Highly rated reviewer]

I agree with the previous review, I was sceptical about how fun this could be, but after my sister raved about it and had played all four games, I decided to give it a go too.

It's surprising how fun being in court can be! This should be seen more as a puzzle/ mystery game because you have to also go around different locations looking for evidence that may help in court, and then choosing the right piece of evidence at the right time can be frustratingly difficult!

There can be too much pointless dialogue at times, but the characters are really fun and inventive. I found it a very good game to play on the tube to and from work!

Also, it's deceivingly longer than you anticipate, which is always good!

Only two and a half star rating just to enable me to give a rating. I was unable to play this game as we were burgled and my DS was stolen, therefore had to return game unplayed

This is the type of game the DS was made more. Simple controls, interesting characters and a great storyline make this accessable to people of all ages. The game makes you think and work out the answer and I couldn't put it down until I had finished. Would reccomend this to anybody.

The Ace Attorney series of games was one I wasn't too bothered about to start with. I enjoyed Capcom games as a whole, but had not bothered to look into their DS series about a spikey-haired lawyer.

But when I finally borrowed this game, the first of a current series of 5, I was hooked immediatlely. I could hardly stand to put it down, and when I finished it, I was straight out the door looking for the second installment, Justice for All.

It's an amazing mystery game, with some great plot twists, amazing characters, beautiful sprite animation, fantastic music and despite an incredibly linear storyline, one of the most addictive games I've played.

I would suggest buying or renting it whilst you can. Any fan of the series will tell you how hard the games are to obtain, myself included. It took me around 7 months to get the first three, and then another three months on top to acquire the fourth installment - Apollo Justice Ace Attorney.

Rare games, but well worth the money. I give this 5 stars on account of how it is now on of my favourite games of all time.

  • I hated this game

I though I would enjoy this game as I love CSI, and Sherlock Holmes mysteries but I got bored within 10 minutes of this game. I found the dialogue infuriating. You then presented a piece of evidence and then more dialogue. you answered a question and then more dialgoue. I have no idea as to what the story line was!!! I just did not enjoy it.

one of the few really decent titles on the ds, really witty, clever, and brilliant, a must buy, definately worth a rent.
