Not so bad

I haven't played any Pokemon games in a long time now admittedly, pretty much since the days of Pokemon Blue and Red but I thought it may be worth the rent now to see how much things have changed.
Although the idea of just having a game just to battle other trainers was certainly different, it still kept my interest for a good hour. I think it's just a game of probablility, which doesn't have the longest life span. All the pokemon battles I entered into had the same levels so it was just about making sure you used the right attacks and elements.
That aside, the graphics are good considering it is on the Wii. Of all the games I have played this one rates the highest, which may come as a surprise but it isn't like the game has much to focus on graphically other than the Pokemon and arena surroundings.
I certainly don't think it is worth buying. Despite it not appearing to be a game thrown out into the market without any thought (like most TV based games) this still has very limited playability.
Probably worth the rent if you enjoy Pokemon.- Was this review helpful to you?

Rubbish game

pokemon battle revolution
By a customer from Colne , 02 Jan 2009Excellent!!!! for my son who's nine he loved having all the different characters in one wii game, kept him entertained and he didn't get bored with it after 5 mins which is what sometimes happens with games he plays on. He now wants this game as a birthday present so he can keep on playing and enjoying, so this is a must.- Was this review helpful to you?
