Clever, original and once you get into it, satisfying. Definately worth a rentalBy jimi1981 (9 reviews) , 01 Jul 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]The first portal game kinda passed me by but i have to say i was very impressed with this game.
The humour and storyline in this game have been way overrated but what was there did keep the game ticking along and linked the tests nicely.
There were times when i got pretty stuck on a test no matter what i tried or how hard i thought and had to look online to find out how to progress but the tests that you manage to work out for yourself are very satisfying.
My attention did start to waiver by stage 6 as it began to get a bit tedious and repetitive but up til then it was a blast.
Probably not much replay incentive to this game but fun while it lasts so makes a great rental.
Try it, persevere and you might like it!

Puzzling Comedies don't get much better than thisBy Brilliance (14 reviews) , 11 May 2013Portal 2 is an amazing game. It is quite possibly the best puzzle game I have ever played. Quite possibly the best game made by Valve Software as well. Where Left 4 Dead and Half-Life are enjoyable, Portal has that element of puzzling stratagy, first-person gameplay and clever comedy. It is definately a game worth playing. Not just for the single player, but also the well-built multiplayer, also.
Great fun game .. If a little shortBy SixFootYeti (4 reviews) , 04 May 2013Really enjoyed this game .. Great fun with a good story, engaging puzzles and lots of humour .. Steven Merchant is on great form too .. Had to use a walkthrough on a couple of the puzzles but once you get the gist of it, its relatively simple to figure out ..
Glados and co are backBy SteelyChimp (4 reviews) , 14 Apr 2013Just completed this after renting it and i have to say it was some of the of the most enjoyable hours spent playing a game in some time. Puzzles are fun and some of the new mechanics change it up a bit. Whats not to love with some great humour throughout from the commentary. If you haven't rented it yet or put it on your list, do it. You won't be disappointed.
Nice puzzles but hard to finish.By acurtis869 (7 reviews) from St. Albans , 28 Mar 2013I loved this game at the start because of all the creative challenges to do but after a while it gets a bit too hard and repetitive so I'd say you've got to be dedicated to finish this. However, the co-op is great fun with friends and I'd strongly recommend getting the game just for that.
