the only reason which i might get this is cos of the story...other than that i seen the gameplay...way too simple and easy...

i don't get why ubisoft can't make a good POP again as the two thrones!!!

amazing game, mainly because it had the kind of game play that i haven't seen in a game for a long time which is puzzles mixed with awesome fights. The game has parts with so many enemies that you struggle to make it through, but the best part is the game isn't just a button basher you have to think about what your doing and the puzzles have to be thought about and figured out.

Had so much expectation on this game after the disappointing Prince of Persia on the PS3, but in all honesty the PS2 versions of the original trilogy are so much better than this. Obviously, graphically it is better but I found the controls to be rather annoying. For instance when you try to time a jump to get over a swinging trap there is a little delay that just completely mistimes your jump and you end up getting whacked by it.

Story wise it's something similar to Sands of Time and Thrones with the Prince back to his English accent, but the combat mechanic is where it fails the most. Again, there is the tiniest delay between your button press and the actual movement and when you are fighting the literal HORDES of enemies this game throws at you it can be very frustrating.

The only plus point is that the Platinum Trophy is really easy to acheive if you are into your trophy gathering, but there is little else to rave about i'm afraid.

All in all, a decent adventure game, but I definitely prefer the originals, so if you fancy some real action then dust off your PS2's and hire the trilogy instead.

I was hugely disappointed with this as i could not complete it due to some bug in the game which caused me to fall thru the scenery everytime i jumped to the platform for the final showdown with the princes brother
