    [Highly rated reviewer]

The weakest in the series, but still brilliant.

The ghosts are very well designed and all are pretty terrifying. A good storyline and a heart-breaking and annoying ending!

It's not too hard to navigate. Sometimes you will get lost for a while but you are still compelled to play. If you don't have patience, then this isn't for you.

One more thing...Sae. One of the scariest bosses ever, so beware of Chapter 7.

Project Zero 2 has one of the best plots in the series.

I mean, I know that every one of the Project Zero games has had their fault BUT those faults are what make the game play so terrifying.

    For example:

You're walking down a dark corridor and you're controller is shaking. You know there is a spirit somewhere nearby because your spirit detector is shining; but where? The light from your torch flickers and fades and you've got the brightness on your screen set up to max. Suddenly, a child starts laughing and lunches are you from a previous unseen angle. You barely have time to activate your camera/weapon. You spin around as the child dives towards you and then the ghost vanishes into the floor...as if it was never there. Is it gone? Or is waiting for you to venture close enough once more?

I love this game. In fact I love all the Project Zero games and I'm actually really annoyed that number 4 (on the Wii) isn't coming to Europe.

The main problem I had with numbers 1,2 and 3, was the wooden movements of the characters. They sort of march, rather then run and it takes a good second to turn around, making your temporarily blind to any dangers. Ghosts also like to pop up out of no where and if you want to complete the spirit list, then your will get frustrated very fast and have to constantly save.

The plot though is amazing and it really freaks you out the first time your play it. I mean I've played scarier games, but this one had the ability to creep me out in a less 'stab! Stab' way and more a, 'Sh*t! I'm stuck!!!! Run! Aaaah! Where the fu*k did that come from! Get off me!' kind of way. Nothing is scarier then a insane shrine maiden, who just pops up and starts chasing you for no reason. Her laugh (shudder) and the fact she's immortal until the last battle means you run a whole lot in this game. Really gets your heart pumping though XD.

Play this game if you love a challege. This is not for those who like their games easy or get frustrated quickly. This game requires a ton of patience and nerves of steel.

It's worth it, I say. I love it and I always recommend that people at least give such a gem a chance to shine, rather then rely on a negetive review.

Oh my dear god, what can i say about this game to make it sound good, hmmmm. origional?

this game was so painful to play, the idea of the game that ghosts can be hurt with a camera is unique, but the game play element is so bad it's not worth it

there is not enough hints in the game to know what to do, and once you finally work out what to do it takes you three days to do it cos she moves so slowly! the run button really doesnt work, it;s more of a slow hoble!

if you have played games like silent hill or resident evil do not lower yourself to this game, you will be so dissapointed you'll stay awake crying.
