    [Highly rated reviewer]

For those of you old enough to remember this title first time round in the arcades, this version is a 3D enhanced version. Those of you who are not, this game gets you taking control of one of a variety of giant monsters (a bit like King Kong & Godzilla), you then use these monsters to bash and smash your way through city blocks with the goal of razing them to the ground. The new version comes with different modes including a world tour. There are various little sub-games in each level, like having to eat 10 Mime artists to get a monster upgrade. You can also unlock more monsters - I think there are 40 in all.

This Wii version also has the added bonus of including the 2 original games in the bonus features. A real blast from the past!

My son loved this & had great fun wreaking havoc on the cities of the world. A nice touch is trashing the capitals of the world & being able to destroy double decker buses in London.

Well worth renting this out & trying before you buy.

  • I see to remember a really good game

Used to play this on the Spectrum and was looking forward to a really good game of mass destruction and fisty cuffs.

Sadly the controls let it down dramaticaly. And the fact that I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing. Seem to remember fighting other monsters and falling on buildings and stuff.

Maybe it was the fact it only held my attention for about 15 minutes before sending it back
