the game is about partially reformed criminal jhon marston on the hunt for his old gang there is a lot to do like collect warrents for convicts that you need to find you can take the honrable way by taking the convict in but you can take the dishoarable way by kiling the convict or by helping bandits assault carriges with people in also by stealling horses at the look at the tralier this game looks amazing- Was this review helpful to you?

Still holds up today!
By Stahly (6 reviews) , 07 May 2013I opened this up again a few days ago and started running wild in the West, and I noticed that this is still an incredible game with an immersive story and easy to play difficult to master gameplay. Everything that's possible in this game are things that games today are only just grabbing hold of, hunting and skinning animals for resources and monetary gain is one of the biggies here, (I'm looking at you Assassins' Creed 3 and Far Cry 3) The online modes are something I've not spent much time playing, but without dedicated servers, there's always someone with a better connection than you, which does let the game down a little, but there's enough to do in the single player campaign to keep you occupied for a good 30 hours, and that's without killing time playing Poker and Liars' Dice. This is still an amazingly fun title and I would still recommend it to anyone that's not had any experience with it yet. You'll always leave your gaming session with a story to tell of something you done in-game.- Was this review helpful to you?

GTA meets The Wild West
By HENDRIX420 (12 reviews) , 10 Apr 2013This is yet another masterpiece from Rockstar Games. It has the GTA style camera, the GTA style radar, mission based gameplay working for various interesting and violent characters, militias and gangs all rolled into an epic wild Western setting. Some of the in game locations really are quite visually stunning and the fact that you must travel on horseback makes the already sizeable map seem much bigger than it is. The main storyline is engrossing and will take around 15-20 hours to complete, this, combined with the ability to indulge in the pretty graphics and the many mini challenges and side missions ensure that this game has the potential to be a worthy purchase. Definitely worth a rent.- Was this review helpful to you?
