Red Faction: Guerrilla is a 3rd person, open-world action shooter set on Mars, 50 years after the events of the original Red Faction. Players will take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Throughout their fight for freedom, players will carve their own path, wreaking havoc across the vast, open-world environment of Mars, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the gleaming EDF capital city of Eos. Utilising improvised weapons, explosives and re-purposed mining equipment and vehicles, Guerrilla allows players to tear through fully destructible environments in an unforgiving Martian landscape swarming with EDF forces, Red Faction resistance fighters, and the downtrodden settlers caught in the cross-fire. Guerrilla will also feature a robust multiplayer component, including several modes focused on destruction-based gameplay.

I loved this game, great graphics, great storeyline and loved the game play as most things are destroyable ,this carries on when you play online with good online modes.

already got this game and don't like it find it boring wish i never wasted money on buying it not worth the hype

I found this title disappointing from the reviews I have read. There was only a couple of things I liked about this title:

- the fact that you have a option to free roam around the map

- the graphics of each small detail when you demolish buildings

The things I disliked about this title;

- I could not get into the plot at all

- I did not like the way the whole game was set out

- I did not like the fact that there was only a few types of weapons

i have played all the red faction games and gotta say this 1 is the most enjoyable 1 i have played hope the next 1 is even better

Couldnt get into it

Wasn't really my type. However, it was good fun smashing things up!!

I've rated it 3 star, but I didn't play much of the single player. Its not a 5 star for sure!

Familiar Concept

As soon as I started playing this it reminded me of Just Cause and the Mercenaries games but it is no-where near as good.

At first it was fun blowing buildings up etc but then the missions became very repetetive. The vehicles are similar and so is the landscape.

I didn't try the online as I just thought to myself, 'why am I wasting my time with this when I could be playing Just Cause 2.'
