By Eamo-13 (3 reviews) , 16 Jul 2012Following up Resident Evil 4 was never going to be easy. It's considered one of the greatest games ever made. Resident Evil 5 is a solid game but it never reaches the heights of it predecessor.
RE5 is a follow-up that doesn't stray too far from the last game, with similar controls and the need to conserve ammo and resources. The addition of a strong co-op mode isn't so much an option as it is a requirement for getting the most out of the game. The AI for your partner in single player severely hampers the experience to the point its clear the game was intended to be played with someone else.
Furthermore the experience is both shorter and lacks the epic scope and fantastic pacing of RE4. If your looking for a good action game to play alongside a friend however, it'll likely be exactly what your looking for. Well worth a rent.- Was this review helpful to you?

it was def challenging but sadly this isnt worth a rental operation racoon city is by
chance one of the best resi games ive played so far
graphics 6/10

5 Stars For Resident Evil 5
By a customer , 21 Apr 20125 Stars! This game is fantastic, there's lots to do, lots to collect and the story is awesome! Yes the Ai was pretty stupid but so are most of the ai's through the Resident Evil games. This game deserves 5 stars and i cant wait for Resident Evil 6!- Was this review helpful to you?

As good as the rest!
By izabuff (4 reviews) from Bridgend , 21 Feb 2012Great game to play in co-op mode! Haven't tried single player as I only ever played with my boyfriend, but we had great fun playing it! Argued lots of times about tactics and stuff, which obviously means it's a great game! Can't beat conflicting ideas on how to beat a boss or the game! Seriously worth playing! I've played every single one of the Resident Evil's and this is as good as the rest!- Was this review helpful to you?
