Gameplay vs Graphics

This is a good game, it's like that girl/boy from school you used to know, wasn't the best looking of people but had a great personality that everyone loved.
First off, the graphics aren't good, at all. But, if someone asked you what you would prefer, an average game that looks pretty or a great game that looks nasty I'd hope you'd go for gameplay everytime.
I've put 10+hours into the game so far, it's not perfect. It's ugly, and yet it kept me captivated for so long that I chose to ignore it's looks.
Do yourself a favour, don't just try it for half an hour. Put a couple of hours in, do a couple of quests. I think you'll be pleasently surprised.- Was this review helpful to you?

By PS3isTheDevil (2 reviews) , 25 Oct 2012This game is not worth even letting it see the light of day. If you have clicked to rent this game then do yourself a massive favour and unclick it.
The graphics are terrible, the voices are just annoying and as for the combat controls if you can even call them controls are just to use a better term would be diabolical.
If you want a classic RPG then stick to Oblivion- Was this review helpful to you?

if u like cheesy old rpg games

Not bad Not good
By Todw1 (2 reviews) , 07 Sep 2012Okay so i have played this for about 5 hours straight its basically i clone of risen but with different characters and items weapons ect. I do like this game but if you don't have a hd tv then stay well away the text will be blurry and such a small font you can barely read it other than that one problem its a decent game. The voice acting is decent not breath taking or going to win any rewards but good enough for you to into the storyline. The graphics are exactly the same as risen and the frame rate still has a the slow down to. The music goes with the game the sound is fine not much to say its a decent game if you liked risen then you will definitely like risen 2- Was this review helpful to you?
