Couldn't play the game as didn't have a microphone or any instruments. I expected to be able to play it with the usual controller as there are no notes or hints to advise otherwise. Doesn't work with World Tour guitars
By bhandley (1 review) from London , 12 May 2009A friend of mine said that Rock Band works fine with Guitar Hero world tour controllers, at least on the xbox, so I hoped that despite previous reviews that only mentioned Guitar Hero (without specifying whether it was World Tour or an earlier version) it might work with my guitar hero world tour controllers. It doesn't. I've tried both the normal GHWT guitar and the Les Paul guitar, and neither is picked up. So there really isn't any point in renting this.- Was this review helpful to you?

OK for karaoke
By a customer from Royston , 03 Dec 2008I rented this game to see for myself it it was compatible with the guitar hero controllers. ONLY THE MIC works with it- so it is great for karaoke- but that's about it.
I have the guitar hero world tour USB mic, so I was able to use this with the game. Any USB mic will work.- Was this review helpful to you?

Can't play it, Can't review it
By a customer from Bedlington , 10 Nov 2008For some reason, you only get the Disc. This game requires the microphone (which is suppied with the game) in order to work.
