Last but not least, all songs can be played in multiplayer with one person playing the bass part and the other the guitar part.

Cable not included

Low rating because the game is rendered unusable without the inclusion of a cable that is bundled with a retail copy.

The cable alone is about £20-£25. I don't fancy spending that much on something I'm renting.

Clearly states you need a cable and guitar. Writing a bad review because you don't pay attention is unfair.. maybe they should supply the guitars too?

Very disappointing!

From the adverts and the main idea behind it, this seemed like it would be an awesome game, but sadly it wasn't. I can play guitar, I'm no virtuoso, but I'm a decent player, so while I'm playing it constantly increases the difficulty...too quickly. it was getting to the point that I would be playing the chorus/verse a different way each time it came around because it had gotten harder. Yes, it is meant to get more difficult, but everyone I've spoken to has said the same, it gets too hard, too quickly, and you just can't keep up with it. Also, I was unable to unlock any side games other than the duck shooting one, which I thought was lacking a little sense. I was really looking forward to the scale game, but it just would not unlock no matter what I did. All-in-all I'm glad I rented it and borrowed the cable from a friend (another thing they get you with!) so I didn't fork out £50 for it!

No Cable! What?!?! Well done love film... Sending straight back... waste of time. Avoid unless you randomly have the cable ?!?

No cable, impossible to play.

If I wanted to spend £20 for a cable that is only useful for this specific game... Well, I could just spend another 20 and buy the whole thing. The point of renting games is NOT spending money, and try before you buy anything. Renting Rocksmith without the cable that's needed to play is completely absurd.

Waste of a rental. You require a special lead which isn't included in the rental but is included if you buy the game.
