High Octane

High Adrenaline

High Trickery!

SSX offers gamers the chance to embrace the deadliest descents in the world with out of this world tricks. Classic characters including Mac and Elise return amongst newbies like TY and Tane. A decent roster offers various different experiences as the world tour involves a seperate skill. In practice One character has a wingsuit enabling the long gaps to be completed by gliding across the obstacle. The conditions are challenging but not to a frustrating extent.

Online modes are in depth and just breathtakingly enjoyable.

Worth A Go But Not The Best

I think ssx is so boring that I would fall a sleep. I do not like snow games to be honest but, for people who do I think you would enjoy it. Seriousoly though it's worth a go.

Not as fun as the previous version.

It is fun and a bit addictive at first, but then it gets boring. You have no split screen option, in the previous games you did and it use to be better. It's cool that you can race against yourself and see your ghost playing by your side. Online multiplaying available.

Terrible controls and an even worse online mode forced down the players throat (even in single player) results in a game that has little to recommend.

Snooze fest

I was really looking forward to this game. Having enjoyed playing the previous versions on the game i thought this would be more of the same. Unfortunately i found myself bored after 20 minutes. i almost sent it back the same day it arrived but thought i should give it another chance. Well today i have and it isn't any better.

Fun but not what the series once was.

Didn't really enjoy this, SSX Tricky was a game I played religiously on the PS2, but this didn't really cut it for me. It was nice to play SSX again, but it lacked the fun that tricky had. Controls are quite good and have a similar feel to the older series games, and anyone with the Skate games will settle in nicely with this. I did however enjoy using the wing-suit, quite a nice touch. If your looking for a game to spend a day or two on, give it a go.
