I was hoping it would be like the Tenchu games but it wasn't the AI is stupid and it's annoying having to complete the game 4 times on each difficulty to get the platinum trophy

I was hoping as other people have said for a Tenchu style game. While it is similar in places in other areas it gets it so wrong.

The missions start off easy and varied enough, but soon you are doing the same missions over and over again, it took me over 30 missions to get to the end of chapter one and of those only about 5 were story based. The other just have you assassinating people, delivering chests or defending people in same areas again and again until the next progressive mission shows up, now some might say that this is to help you build up XP and improve your character, but when not every mission gives you a chance to level up and when they do the XP only numbers 2 or 3 points then you get bored easily.

The camera also was an annoyance, it could never centre on the character properly and combing that with having to tap the launch a grappling hook via the rear touch, which could be triggered accidental if just happened to brush a finger against it made missions more difficult than they need to be.

However, despite these faults it is still a ok game to play and so far the only one of its kind on the Vita and for that it should be given an chance. Some people might enjoy it others like me will find it gets repetitive easily, but you wont know until you try.

Just hope things get improved if they ever make a Shinobido 3.

Game overall is payable, can be repetitive at times considering it appears you are doing the same missions over and over.

You play on the same maps but different missions so you get used to them and then every now and then the main story kicks in.

The Rear touch panel is nice to for the grapple hook on but sensitivity can be annoying there are two modes one wide and normal

    wide appears to sensitive

    normal doesn't seem sensitive enough,

Alternatively you can use the R+O buttons.

dispute this I end up using the rear touch.

The game play is good and gets harder as you go through,

you need to make sure you stealth kill as the enemy seems to get stronger, as they become aware of you on these missions, they learn you style of attack and they get weapon upgrades due to you accepting missions to help them and when you go to oppose them on certain missions they have bows because you stole the blueprints and gave their leader to make them.

You also effect which leader you are helping and making worse by taking missions, at the same time if you keep helping one then the others pick up on it that your siding with their enemy, sometimes you've got to go against them... you've got a powerful army to take down....very dynamic.

There is alchemy in this game where you boil and dilute herbs and mix, you find these on your missions so look out for them, which is cool to play around with to your style of completing missions, aka make fainting sushi so that you can surprise you enemies while they are down

I'd like to say is the camera seems to be looking towards the floor as your run when you want to see ahead and can get annoying.

Overall it is a deep game, and if you like this type of game its great for pick up and play the missions are not too long.
