Nice Idea

A really good idea for a game, and fitted wellinto the psp format, whether its finding gold, hijacking ships, rising your way up the pirate hierarchy there is plenty to keep you occupied for a good few hours.
Though Im glad I rented this game off total film and not buyed it for £30 as the game soon becomes repetitive. The missions and task after the first few initial hours make you groan with dissapointment as you realise its the same task you did an hour before only dressed up differently. Characters have no individual AI and the game is mostly set at sea, with little upgrades and scope for change apparent.
In conclusion not a bad little game that will keep you busy until you get sick of the repetative game scenes and tasks.- Was this review helpful to you?

Underrated
By a customer from Cromer , 01 Feb 2008This is your typical ignored nugget of genius. Pirates is a truly brilliant game but everyone ignores it! its so fun to go plundering when you're bored. I still pick it up after 4 months to have a little play. The fact it chucks in other famous pirates is genius. You can go sink them and become the most feared pirate on the seas. Or you could pursue your missing family?
