(51)Like being in Hong Kong!!

Although it pales in comparison to GTA IV, I think that the way they have captured the experience of being in Hong Kong was unreal! Congrats to Square Enix for making such a great experience. Although the game had some gameplay errors, I enjoyed the story. Wei Shen could have been a more interesting main character, but some of the other characters in the game eg- Winston and Dog Eyes are excellent! In short, the game alone would be about a 3/5 in gameplay and story, but I've given it 4/5 simply because of how awesome Hong Kong looks and feels in the game!- Was this review helpful to you?

Good but easy

The only problem with game is i thought the story was very easy to complete and the side missions are very repeatitive thats why i can only give it 4 stars. More than just another GTA wannabe

You would struggle to find a Hollywood film with as good a plot as this game that's executed as well as Sleeping Dogs executes it. The martial arts based combat system brings a new texture to the sandbox game genre; and the game keeps you on the edge of your seat with the development of its rich plot and the varying motivations of its cast. Truly an under-rated example of and a fresh take on a genre that can be a bit samey; a true hidden gem.- Was this review helpful to you?

Exactly like GTA but with a CHINESE KICK !
By a customer , 03 May 2013It was honestly so fun and kept me wanting to play and finish the story all at once! It has a great story line, everything was fairly easy in the game it would have been better if it was a bit more challenging. But! I gave it 5 stars because everything about it appealed to me. I don't know why I never bought the game when it first came out. It is very similar to GTA but with a Chinese kick to it LOL so anyone who enjoys GTA make sure you play it!- Was this review helpful to you?
