like the look of this sniper game?, read this first, trust me.

I am a keen gamer and never played on the first sniper ghost warrior so I had no idea what I was letting myself in for, but what I hoped for was a real sneak around type game that you really have to use your imagination on and for it to be able to really give you a experience of what a sniper should be like in the way of movement, position, wind factor etc. Im sure that's what fans of sniper games are after too, much like the sniper elite v2 game that was out just under a year ago. That game was fantastic and really recommend that game to any sniper enthusiast, but this game, no. Sure it has its sneak around factor but not in the way you want, the control of the game character is too robotic and the whole game feels a little low budget in the movement of most things around you from the movement of the sniper to the environment around you when you play. It reminds me very much of call of duty 3 which has bad graphics compared to what we have today, but the overall game play is similar and you don't have anything new to look forward to. As for the story itself, it took me a few hours to finish the game at 100% and on the hardest difficulty and there's no difference with the fact that i might just be good at this game, because my father did exactly the same as me. a real game that has had passion, time and effort put into it should not be that easy to complete or be that short. to get this game whether it be to rent or to buy would be a great waste of money and you will be sorry to have had to spend money after playing such a disappointment. officaily the worst game i have ever played. if you are looking for a good sniper game, its not here. i have talked about all the bad parts of this game so here is what was the best part for me. getting rid of the game.- Was this review helpful to you?

Better than 1st one....
By a customer , 14 May 2013Much better than the first and the 'siberian strike' dlc is good for it also...not too difficult to 100% for a seasoned first person shooter player also you can boost multiplayer cheevos in private matches if you are so inclined rather than keep this game for god knows how long lol ....(surely as a rental you dont want to keep playing multiplayer games like you would if you owned it for week and weeks as they are tedious) Not as good as Sniper Elite V2..this wolud be alot better if you could wiretrap an area with claymores etc or target acquisition for air strikes or artillery as snipers do in real life....not just shoot and scoot as this can be if rushed and try to kill everyone like a COD game but nontheless its not a long game and quite fun- Was this review helpful to you?

It has a good campaign amazing graphics overall the campaign was really fun. I didn't get a chance to play the multiplayer but it looked fun. By magicmatt2013 (6 reviews) , 10 May 2013If you really love your sniper games then give this a punt, but I think you will be disappointed. the storyline is weak and tedious and the missions are repetitive, it takes a while to get into but when you get the gist of it this game can be completed on the hard level in under 2 hours, there are better sniper games out there, don't get me wrong the grafix are nice, it's just a shame that they spent more time on those than they did on the game play and content. mediocre at best, defiantly rent it before you buy it, it's selling for 10 quid, but i'd rather spen the money on a trip to the movies than have this in my collection. /v\agic /v\att.- Was this review helpful to you?
