More of the same...
By a customer from Manchester , 16 Dec 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Though just because it's more of the same, that should not imply that it's a bad thing. The last Sonic Rivals was good, if a little limited. Sonic Rivals 2 keeps similar dull, annoying levels and throws in three extra characters, a battle mode so you can not only race your opponent, but fight them, play tag with them, play capture the chao/flag, etc. In addition, there's a new story mode where the player will take control of one of four teams (Sonic and Tails, Knuckles and Rouge, Silver and Espio, Shadow and Metal Sonic) to race, battle and boss fight his/her way to the finish, where a rather spectacular final boss awaits them. Players will enjoy trying each of the characters' unique special moves (chaos control, flight, etc.) and battling their friends in multiplayer. A must for loyal Sonic fans and recommended for newcomers. This is a great return to Sonic's side-scrolling origins, with brilliant 3d graphics and above par voice acting. 4/5- Was this review helpful to you?

(2)Improvement!
By David Tarbun from Northampton, England , 04 Feb 2008In my opinion this is a vast improvement on the first game. There is more variety with the charectors, game types and difficulty. The reward system is very nice too!
This is a very enjoyable game when even if a level is proving trickyyou always end up saying 'I will just have one more go!'.
Very good game- Was this review helpful to you?
