Demo for this was very good. great action play and the story keeps you interested. if you don't like difficult games best playing it on easy for a more fun game. i call it stoner level, which i am : )

Good, smooth gameplay for a third-person shooter. Tactical aspect is underplayed but overall supported by an original storyline that really makes you think about the consequences of your actions. My only real complaint was the length of the campaign which I finished in one evening.

I like shooters and appreciate good grafix and a decent storyline and this one didn't disappoint, there are a couple of down points, the multi-player is boring and disappointing, and the cut scenes are to frequent (shoot a few enemy's then a 30 sec sequence, then repeat) but on the flip side there are some nice touches, parts of the game test your morality, do you shoot the traitor or let him live, do you shoot a thief who stole for his family or shoot the cop who killed the thief's family for doing it, all decision's effect the final outcome and end-sequence, the other nice touch is that although it's a 1st person shooter whenever you have men with you, you can order them to take out enemy's on your behalf, which is fun, especially when you are in cover and a particularly elusive enemy is sapping your strength, you can just send the boys in to do the dirty work.... apart from the cut scenes this games storyline flows at an o. k pace and as the story progresses you get to really love or hate the main character depending on the choices you make for him.... good twist on a genre of games that has been repeated more times than the cheap smellys you get every year for xmas from your gran. . /v\agic /v\att

  • If this is the pinnacle of shooters we're doomed....

Rented this because EVERYONE was going on about the story. Unfortunately the actual game itself is a terribly forgettable and extremely monotonous shooter. I couldnt force myself to grind through the game for the story and gave up a few hours in.

For a third person shooter, it's fantastic! I much prefer FPS but this was a nice change. The whole unexpected aspect of it all is well thought out and keeps you guessing. The cover system is good although you can find yourself dashing out at the wrong times and the ability to command your team is a plus. Very surreal experience on the hard-hitting nature soldiers face and a very believable story line. Can't wait for a sequel. The multiplayer is the only thing that let this game down. It had massive potential to be a great multiplayer but managed to be dull. The loadout system didn't save and had to be repeated several times, the lag was at times, unbearable and the ranking system was pointless. Nevertheless, the campaign is one of the best for a long time. 10/10 would recommend.
