Following up a great game, with a better one

Knights of the Old Republic had to be one of the most enjoyable games on the XBox for a long time. Allowing you to run through a whole story as an up and coming Jedi certainly has a lot of attraction.
Now, with the second one, they have made a lot of improvements. First off you don't have the pesky levels where you don't get force powers cause you don't know your a Jedi yet. Instead, you get powers from the get go, and can choose light or dark ones.
In addition there are more companions to choose from, including a number of characters from the original game (some a little more hidden than others).
One of the mildly annoying points about the game though has to be how obvious the story is at times. But theres enough side stories and plots to follow that the mild dissappointment at certain obvious parts of the main thread are easily ignored.
All in all a very enjoyable game.- Was this review helpful to you?
